Dr Amy Rowlands is a dedicated chiropractor who combines modern chiropractic care with a personalised, patient-centred approach to help people move better, function better and feel more confident in their bodies.
Originally from New Zealand, Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Chiropractic from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2023 and has been registered with the New Zealand Chiropractic Board since graduating. She also holds a Diploma in Applied Science from Auckland University of Technology.
Since qualifying, Amy has worked as a full-time chiropractor at ChiroMotion in Auckland, gaining experience across a diverse patient population and treating a wide range of acute and chronic spinal and extremity complaints. Working within a multidisciplinary clinical environment alongside chiropractors and acupuncturists has further developed her ability to provide individualised care based on each patient’s presentation, goals and needs.
Amy has developed proficiency in a broad range of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Drop Table, Activator, UCS, Extremity and Gonstead, alongside soft-tissue techniques such as trigger point therapy. She also incorporates rehabilitation, exercise, posture and ergonomic education into her approach, helping patients understand how their everyday habits and movement patterns can influence their health.
For Amy, effective chiropractic care is about more than simply addressing symptoms. She believes in educating and empowering patients so they can take an active role in their own health and make meaningful, sustainable changes.
Her commitment to professional development has included further training in paediatric chiropractic care, women’s chiropractic care, rehabilitation, communication and patient education, alongside regular clinical and team-based training.
At Reliable Spine, Amy brings a combination of clinical skill, thoughtful communication and a genuine commitment to patient care. Her goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where every patient feels listened to, understood and confident in their care.
