Dr Morris is a Zimbabwean-born, South African-trained, UK-based chiropractor with a special interest in structural spine care, scoliosis management, and non-surgical solutions for complex spinal conditions.
He completed his MTech Chiropractic degree in 2017 and a PhD in Public Health in 2022, producing nine peer-reviewed publications focused on chronic low back pain, published in respected international journals. His academic work reflects a strong commitment to evidence-informed spine care.
Dr Morris has undertaken advanced training in the Principles and Practice of Scoliosis Conservative Treatment (PPSCT) through the internationally recognised ISICO institute in Italy. He is among a small number of clinicians in Scotland providing rigid CMP hyper-corrective bracing through Spine Corporation Ltd.
His clinical approach is centred on precision, biomechanics, and long-term stability rather than short-term symptom relief. At Reliable Spine, he focuses on identifying the underlying structural drivers of pain and dysfunction through detailed assessment, functional testing, and, where appropriate, digital imaging.
Dr Morris has developed particular interests in:
- Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis
- Rigid bracing management
- Advanced spinal decompression therapy
- Disc-related low back pain
- Postural and structural rehabilitation
He integrates corrective rehabilitation, decompression protocols, and bracing strategies into structured care plans tailored to each individual case. Dr Morris remains actively engaged in research and is involved in developing protocols exploring conservative scoliosis care and structural spinal interventions, with the aim of linking clinical care to measurable outcomes.
Patients often describe his approach as calm, thorough, and reassuring, with a strong emphasis on understanding root causes rather than simply managing symptoms. Outside the clinic, Dr Morris continues to pursue professional development in spinal biomechanics and advanced conservative care strategies. He enjoys golf, countryside walks, and spending time with his wife Linda and their two daughters.
